Queuing at our local Tesco petrol station, I noticed the height restrction sign. You may not be able to read it in the picture, but it says:
Height restriction 13' - 12" (4 m)
Now, when I was at school, if I remember rightly, 13' 12" was actually 14' !
You can't even get the staff at the sign writers!
1 metre = 3ft 3in x 4 meters should read 13ft 2in have I got that right. Looks to me like they havent carried the one over.
ReplyDeleteNot quite right! 3 x 4 is 12 so 4 metres is 12 ft plus 12 inches, which is 13 feet.
